The International Folklore Festival takes place every year during the hot summer days in the former capital of Bulgaria, Veliko Tarnovo. It boasts a rich programme with a vast variety of concerts and ethnic dancing shows, presenting an ever larger number of countries and cultures from around the world.
The Festival is said to be one of the biggest international folklore forums on the Balkans. It is a huge national event with world fame and a unique atmosphere. The 13th International Folklore Festival will take place on July 17- July25, 2010.
